Delete your Oops Jar account

In the app

1. Open Oops Jar and go to the You tab.
2. Tap Delete account, then confirm.

It happens straight away, and we’ll email to confirm.

Can’t get into the app?

Email hello@oopsjar.com from the email address on your account, with “Delete my account” as the subject. If you signed in with Apple and hid your email, tell us that and we’ll help you prove it’s you. We’ll delete your account within 30 days, usually much sooner, and reply to confirm.

What happens

• Your account, your sign-in and your notification settings are deleted.
• Jars that only you are in are deleted, with their tallies.
• Jars you share with other people pass to someone else in them, so they keep working.
• Your name stays in other people’s jars, with its +1s, because it’s part of their tally. It’s no longer linked to you. Email us if you’d like it removed.
• Copies in our backups are gone within 30 days.

Your plan

Deleting your account doesn’t cancel your plan. Apple or Google bill you for it, so cancel it with them too: on iPhone, Settings, your name, Subscriptions. On Android, Google Play, your profile picture, Payments & subscriptions.
